Recovery Home Service Linkages

FGC has entered into effective partnership with several residential recovery home programs, combining FGC’s expertise in substance abuse treatment with a structured, drug -free living environment as patients begin building the foundation for a drug free, stable lifestyle.

The Residential Recovery Program, in partnership with A Safe Haven, provides intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment specifically designed for clients referred by Treatment Alternatives for Special Clients (TASC). Residential Recovery Program patients have criminal justice involvement and begin treatment immediately upon release from jail. Group and individual counseling and comprehensive case management are provided with a unique focus on developing an illicit drug free and legal, productive lifestyle. Thus, planning for a permanent stable living environment and employment are key goals of the program in addition to ongoing relapse prevention. Over 1,000 clients have completed this program with high rates of post-treatment employment and involvement in aftercare such as 12 step programs or other supportive programs.

FGC has linked with Chicago Christian Industrial League (CCIL) program offering on-site outpatient and intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment. These patients are dealing with homelessness and a myriad of psychosocial problems. The presence of full-time FGC clinical staff at these sites has allowed for consistent patient participation and true collaboration with residential staff.
