Persons appropriate for outpatient programming are in need of structured
treatment focused on prevention of illicit use, but are ready to begin incorporating
sober lifestyle changes into settings outside of treatment such as family,
work, school etc. Recognizing substance abuse as a multidimensional problem,
outpatient treatment plans can address many issues including HIV, Hepatitis
C,and other infectious disease prevention, job-readiness, perinatal addiction,
domestic violence, criminal justice issues, parenting, concurrent health issues,
and mental health in conjunction with the overarching goal of freedom from
drug and alcohol abuse. The outpatient service menu includes substance abuse
assessment, group counseling, individual counseling, case management, and
periodic drug screening.
