RECOVERY ORIENTED
SYSTEM OF CARE
(ROSC)

services

The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (DHS-SUPR) supports a network of Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSCs) throughout the state. Through a DHS-SUPR grant, FGC organizes and facilitates the Sangamon County ROSC, which provides a structure allowing individuals, families, and a wide range of community organizations to drive the design and delivery of recovery support services within their local community. The Sangamon County ROSC works with its partners to plan, design, manage and advocate for strategies that will work best in the communities served. This type of planning and coordinating uses a systems approach and effective collaboration among local stakeholders, including the following: schools, law enforcement, child welfare, the courts, human services, healthcare, businesses, employment services, and, most importantly, persons in recovery and their families.
